My boyfriend, our puppy and I spent two nights here, on our Gaspesie tour. We had rented a cabin along the waterfront. It is of note, that this KOA is simply massive--it offers tent campsites, several trailer sites and a few cabins along the water, all of varied prices and sizes. While we were there, it wasn't too busy, so it was peaceful. I would imagine during busy season, with all sites occupied, it would be quite noisy! We loved that there was a massive park for children, including a pool, splash pad, trampoline as well as mini-putt. Though we didn't use any of these, the kids seemed to have a good time! There was also a small fenced-off dog run, off to the side, which was nice. The beach and lake is really nice and peaceful--there seemed to be rentals for all kinds of water equipment available, too. The staff is very friendly and kind. Downsides were that you have to pay extra for WiFi, the cabins (ours anyways) and their furniture/kitchen/etc were a bit dated/old, but well equipped and spacious. The closest grocery stores/services are within a 20 minute drive.

Wondering view, nice level sites but hilly terrain. Free WiFi to sites would be nice - especially given distance and slope to office. Staff nice as usual.

The campground itself is big. Lots of things for the kids to do. We had to drive up two big hills with our fifth wheel to get to our site. Everything is situated on the lower level. No one walks they drive golf carts because of the hills. The view from our site is beautiful, on a cliff overlooking the water. We only stayed one night. Its was a 40 min drive off the trans canada rough roads and big hills. Got to see lots of beautiful country

This KOA is very big. It is multi levelled. If you have kids who like to be active, make sure you are on the lower level, as the hill itself is big! There is lots to do, including a BMX track, which my son thought was pretty neat. The mini putt course was rough. A little TLC is needed there, but other then that the pool, park and lake access was all really well kept.

I once stayed across the river upstream at a bnb where the river was about 2 miles wide or more I think while traveling in Quebec. I can't think of the name of the town but it was small and very charming and quaint not far from the bnb and river. I have never been there, but wondering if this is a clothing optional resort or if you know of any nearby?

The best resort in the area. Washrooms, showers (really clean), also with dog park, nice pool area and water play ground for kids. I recommend

Good location and new ish sites on top of the hill up the paved road. View is great from hilltop. Restroom and shower house was not open at top so had to hike down to main building for it. Many sites are full time occupied with permanent campers but many were not present during our stay. Breezy cool at the top of the hill was nice, but know there are mosquitoes and the dreaded no-seeum biting flies. Lots of them. Wear your looking sleeves and neck cover cuz these flies will find any skin not covered and bleed you out.
