It's closing down and the staff just doesn't care about what they're doing any more. In order to mark the items final sale, the cashier drew on half our items in permanent marker. Everything is 25% off starting now though. We should have gotten more off. The manager was helpful, however, in instructing us in how to fix what his staff did, in a long-suffering kind of way.
Staff have always been helpful and friendly. This is a smaller "boutique" version of Rona so there's things you just won't find here. For small everyday home improvement things, yes. But if you're planning a larger or more technical project, I suggest going to their larger storefront. That being said it's convenient to come by here from the skytrain station nearby to pick up some sandpaper, or an extension cord.
Old school feel, BARELY had what I needed but managed to find items just enough to finish a local renovation near by. 4 stars due to selection of items, but the staff are excellent
Ya it's true this place is convenient and may have good service but not when they lock their doors before their posted hours of closing. I needed an item just to finish up my home project and didn't realize they were closing early that day for the holiday but i still arrived a few minutes before closing, the open sign was up but the door was locked and they wouldn't let me in. This is just poor business and I will be intentionally going out of my way and taking my business elsewhere. Boycotted. Sorry but not sorry. Way overpriced anyway.
Always great service. Nice and central to home, for my hardware needs when I don't need to go to the big box stores.
Not bad... Except that it will be closing permanently in December 2018
