Very unusual and distinctive West Coast First Nations’ large cedar carvings are in both spacious International & Domestic Terminals —with wide variety of popular brand fast food outlets plus souvenir/ news/ clothing stores. State-of-art Canada Line rapid subway transit provides fast, affordable transportation to heart of downtown Vancouver & Richmond. With excellent service by taxis, hotel shuttles & limousine.

The airport is alright however there seems to be a larger shift on the retail of tax free goods. If you have money you want to spend, by all means have at it. I use the airport for the air travel... The good thing about this area is their train system. It's very simple and easy to understand as long as you have credit card.

Nice airport. Nothing super fancy. There's good stuff after going through security but a little boring before that. Some shops. Some food. They have a nice observation deck.

It's YVR skytrain station. It's very clean and very easy to get directions to anywhere, staff is very friendly. Very good shops, washroom are clean, When you arrive at YVR skytrain station you will see the sign boards mentioning which way is the international departures and which way is domestic departures. Right when you enter any side you will see an information desk in front of you they will guide you to any directions you want. Overall I would say very well-maintained Airport.

Very easy to use your credit card as a pass, if chip reader enabled just hold it against scanner and doors will open (note has to be MasterCard or Visa). The trains are very easy to navigate and the bus line also uses the same card reader i.e. don't need to purchase special tokens or worry about cash. Much cheaper then taxi and just as fast. Trains arrive pretty much every 6 minutes when I was at Vancouver.

Waiting for an in flight can be as much anxiety as trying to catch a flight. Visit the upper floors to see this carving by renowned Haida artists Bill Reid.

Clean, decent selection of restaurants, easy to navigate and small lineups at security.
