We enjoyed the regional food from Shanghai, especially the dim sum! The hot dishes are good too! The staff was polite but very busy. Last time we ordered a dessert and in the end we were waiting and we had to ask what happened and it was sold out. They forgot to tell us...You should make a reservation, it is safer and will get your table. Does not matter if it is weekdays or weekends. Arrive early, few places to park.

Yuan’s Garden is conveniently located near No. 3 Rd, Richmond BC. Nice ambiance, courteous servers and attentive service. They offer delicious Zhejiang local cuisines loved by both Chinese northerners and southerners. Today, we returned for their steamed chicken mixed with ginger and spring onion in soy sauce and heated oil - umm, aromatic and tasty! We love their sweetened smoked fish, too. They have a wide selection of dishes on the menu - Nanjing salty duck, steamed souped buns, pan fried pork buns . . . are all well known. Worth trying for life experience!
The food was good and each table is properly social distanced. My only concerned, a couple of the dishes felt oily. That doesn’t take away from the taste and experiences but more MY post experience side. In terms of price point you get a good bang for the buck. This makes me happy.
Delicious steamed pork buns. Fresh, hot, thin batter yet strong enough to pick up with chopsticks without breakage, good pork flavour (not excessively fatty), lots of soupy! Consistent food quality, efficient turn around, reliable. Go-to place to get Shanghai dim sum steamed pork dumping cravings. Also enjoy the puff radish pastry. Pan friend pork bun also good, panfried to perfection (but must eat swiftly, otherwise the soupiness soaks up into the bun!).
Loved the food so much! Tan tan noodles was on point with the balance between peanut and spice, pan fried buns were fried perfectly (and so big) and crab meat xiaolongbao was juicy with the skin not being too thick. We actually ordered way more but we devoured them all before having a chance to take pics. Service was attentive and friendly as well, I will be back!
