Wish I can rate a minus star if possible. I called them 5 times in 5 hours to simply get a confirmation letter to fax to me because they don't send emails. Previous to this I've been informed TWICE that there will be a email send to me and they even checked my email address, and guess what, another FOUR TIMES that they don't ever do emails. So I waited for a letter which never was mailed to me. And I called them 5 times to get it faxed, which again, promised that I will receive that within 10 minutes, 5 times by 5 different people and it was never sent. One employee was even telling me that his supervisor is "in front of the fax machine and ready to send it" to make me hung up the phone. I waited that fax for a day, called 5 times, and all I got by the end of the day was "we will make sure it is sent the first thing tomorrow morning". And the supervisor lady was like "I am not responsible for other people's mistakes". WOW. Just wow.

Signed up for an Equifax premier account (to check file periodically), And I discovered about a month ago that total credit recovery had completed a soft inquiry on my credit file?? Don’t have any debts Outstanding of any kind, but out of the blue, this company performed a soft credit inquiry into my file without my permission, or for any other good reason that I’m aware of. Tried calling them several times, but they don’t have any real phone lines so that you can actually talk to somebody, it just directs you to a directory board. Left a a small message on their online website form, still never heard anything back from them since. It appears to me that this company is very predatory, in the sense that they go looking for people at random, and maybe try to buy their debt from the creditor, I don’t know, I’ve seen and heard some pretty bad reviews about this company

These guys are about to get sued for harassing people not associated with my own file. Multiple calls and and intimidation on people that have nothing to do with me.

These people have been spamming and harassing both my wife and I for weeks. Calling back with new numbers after we block the last. Will be filing complaints against them.

I just made my 2nd payment to finish my debts with these people. They told me I'd receive a receipt of payment on my 2nd payment and nothing over a week later they have received it. I've been on hold for over 30 minutes two seperate occasions now. This feels like a big scam and I don't know what to do here?

I have been threatened, harrassed, yelled at and talked over. They keep calling but they don't actually want to talk. All over money I do not actually owe.

Residents of British Columbia. If this collection company is calling you and they have the wrong phone number (i.e. you are not the debtor). Inform the collector that you are not the debtor. It is an offence if the collector attempts to call you after you have informed the collector that you are not the debtor, pursuant to section 120 of the BC Business Practice and Consumer Protection Act. A collector guilty of this offence is liable to a fine up to 10 000, imprisonment up to 12 months or both. In addition, the company Total Debt Recovery, is liable to a fine up to 100 000, pursuant to section 190 of the Act. Once you have informed the collector that you are not the debtor and if they continue to call you, file a complaint with the director of BC Business Practice and Consumer Protection.

Paid an outstanding phone bill which was fine. But I still haven't received a receipt or closed case documentation. I saved the case number and bank transaction but the outstanding balance on my credit report says it's still owed. Trying to get a hold of these people is a nightmare always says the line is busy. Frustrating and feels like a scam.
