" She's got a ticket to Ride!" A Canadian passport means freedom and travel and adventure!! If you have all your paperwork organized, things go smoothly. Bring a book to read while you are waiting. I would not risk going on your lunch break, you may be late for work. It is worth paying to get a 10 year passport instead of the 5 year. Waiting in line once a decade is not so bad!

Very quick and smooth renewal passport place in Richmond. I’ve been coming here for the last 12 years. Went around 10:30 and I was done by 11:15. They are very well organized and the security guard is very friendly.

*No cash accepted here* *Make sure your forms are filled out correctly and you have all supporting documents* Very fast service compared to the downtown branch. The prescreening was quick and I was in and out within 40 min on a Tuesday morning. There are lots of seats and it was a smooth process handing in my passport application as a Canadian citizen with previous passports. Just make sure you have all your documentation in order.

1.5 hour wait and counting. Yes it’s lunch time but having 1 counter open out of 12 is just in acceptable. Not mentioning the auto line up system is not working but making people wait and having 3 kids melt down in the waiting area make people mad. Not at the parents nor the kid but the people over the counter!!!!!! This is furious... because it’s now 1 hour and 47 min and I’m still waiting!!!!!! Time is money, I know waiting for about an hour is the norm but 2 hours!!!!!!!! I would give negative star if I could!!!!!!!!

We were in an out in about 40 minutes. We thought it would take longer as we were applying for passports for our 3 kids. We were greeted and directed by a very nice security personnel. He also gave our kids some paper and a pen to draw on to keep them entertained. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Honestly, it's really just a place of procedure. Really you want to be in and out. If you have all your paperwork ready it's not bad. The security guard upfront was very nice when I was there. It's clean as it should be, bring some headphones and watch the tickers upfront. And you won't have to return in 5-10 years.

Poor service. I came here during the lunch hour on a Tuesday. Long wait time, not enough productive staff. After 40 minutes of waiting, I had to leave as I had to go back to work. It was extremely disappointing to see that at one the point, the clerks who were available weren't even reviewing applications. You also have to pay for parking. I could hear one of the clerks talking rudely to a passport applicant. This is what tax payer's money goes towards...
