The facility is first class as it was the 2010 Olympic venue however the staff at customer service are the least helpful, not understanding and rude people I have ever come across. I was in the process of starting out my 7 day trial hoping to eventually get a year membership. But due to my experience with how the bureaucracy operates I will not be considering a membership anymore. Not to mention my concerns about safety at the climbing wall, as they are understaffed (1), inexperience of staff and can not adequately manage the safety of climbers. People are lead belaying without proper vetting. With the potential of decking and clotheslining for the lead climber. As there is minimal oversight/enforcement of safety rules. Most staff except for the rare occasion have very little to no climbing experience. From my experience working at a climbing gym I can no longer recommend anyone come to the oval other than for their tall walls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND any beginners climbers to come to this location. Not to mention my severe concerns of flaunting COVID regulations as I see basketball players play without masks it is only a matter of time before there are transmission cases coming from this facility.

To be honest, I love this place. The staff not so much. I seem to not be the only person complaining about the staff. Don’t get me wrong, the receptionists and check-in are awesome, but the people managing the courts and the check-in at the courts aren’t the nicest. They kick you off the court right at the end of the session and rush you to exit the court. Other than the staff, the courts are mostly well-managed, the facility is clean, the prices are too high, and the accessibility is great! UPDATE: I don’t know one of the check-in guys but he’s really nice and outgoing. He even knows my name! He absolutely carries the reputation of this place!

Y’all. There is a serious lack of signage and instruction on how to actually get into the building. But there are lots of places that you’re not allowed to go into...Which are very obvious. and I’m so glad I could find them all. It’s been really fun trying to guess where I should park and then going into multiple entrances and told that I’m not allowed.

People that works here are pretty nice. But their system is a total disaster. Systems error doesn't happened only once. But multiple times throughout the moth. And due to that, I won't be able to register for the fitness center. First time: Bike under a heavy rain for 30min, and was told I was registered with the old system. End up waiting 2 hours at the lobby for the next spot to be opened. Second time: monthly membership got canceled without any notice. I was told it was a system error that they didn't update my membership expiration date.

We came to watch some speed skating and we were not disappointed. Great races, nice to see Canada win.
