The food, service and environment are great. Recognized the tall girl waitress from elsewhere! She's very attentive as I remembered. We ordered their salty egg fried rice, shrimp and Taiwanese chicken nuggets. Also ordered the lamb hot pot, but forgot to take photo. They even gifted us fried taro balls, the kids loved it. Food portions are great, very tasty and flavourful. Will definitely come back here again to try other hotpot as winter is approaching.

Restaurant space is nice, lots of parking in this strip mall, and the service we received was friendly. My issues were with the food and pricing. We tried the coconut chicken hot pot, and had two add-ons (prawns and potato slices). Our bill was almost 80 before tip. Oh I forgot to mention they charge 2 per person for dipping sauce, which is crazy! Other places have much better sauce options and don’t charge extra! We won’t be back.

I visit Jianghu every now and then with my parents when we visit Richmond. Atmosphere and service in the restaurant is very nice. The restaurant is really tidy and the tables are spaced far apart as appropriate under these circumstances. Today we were served by a nice young lady, I don’t know what her name was but she wore a long ponytail. She was polite and was very attentive but not intrusive which we appreciated. The food is very good and pretty generous. The plating is nice and none of the food is overly greasy. Of all the dishes, I personally recommend anything lamb. I like the tripe and stir fried lamb the most. The popcorn chicken is also good. My parents are from Taiwan and we think it’s pretty authentic. Not all the dishes are Taiwanese style but I think having variety is good. The hotpot was pretty good too, though I don’t think it was quite as good as the other dishes but that’s just preference. The pricing is decent too. It’s not particularly cheap but I don’t think they’re overcharging at all compared to lots of other Taiwanese/Chinese places I’ve been. It’s quality food so it’s fair to charge a little more. As for negatives. We ordered the coconut chicken hotpot today but they didn’t have any today so we were kind of disappointed about that. The replacement we ordered was really tasty so I’d feel bad docking any stars for that. We were offered a 10 off coupon and I’m seeing that some people are suggesting that you only get it for a Google review but I don’t think that’s true. We hadn’t been prompted to review the place prior to getting it. She did ask if we could leave a review while we were leaving but nothing more than that.

It is solid 5 stars. Tried their eel rice and fried oysters. The smell with lotus leave mixed well with mushroom on the rice. It is good and at a reasonable price. The fried oyster is at average size and is crispy. Both is bit better than expectations. Provided with Taiwanese tea is a plus. They have few non alcohol beverage which is possible the only let down

Amazing Taiwanese spot that is great especially for the coming winter months. My good friend brought me here, and having lived in Beijing, he told me that the Lamb Hotpot is closest to home for him. It tasted fresh and at first try, I can already taste the subtle spices that they used which was really good. The lamb meat was very soft, and the tofu was the cherry on top. We also ordered the fried oysters and the meat sauce on rice, which was a very good complement. All the staff wore masks, tables were spaced out well, and restaurant was clean and tidy. Service was also on point. I will definitely come back again to try other foods that they offer.
