I had water leaking through the ceiling in my kitchen and living room. I wanted to make sure that the issue got remediated properly so I called John from Oborne Contracting. He is the guy I call when I need things done right. John was super responsive. He had the issue checked out that week and started on it right away. Within 3 days the job was done and the result was fabulous! The whole process was seamless. I'm very pleased with his work once again!

We did a renovation of our facility to get it post-COVID ready. From creating independent change stalls, dividing walls, doors, paint and finishing, and moving around equipment. John and his team were very professional, came in and measured everything, got a quote in a short period of time. It came in reasonable (not the least, not the most expensive either) from the 3 vendors that came in, but definitely was the one that put the most care and detail oriented. Communication was key. They finished the job in the time they said they would (I was surprised myself, dealing with multiple contractors in the past, I expected it to take at least 50% more time), but they came through. The work was near flawless, I couldn't believe it, they even went above and beyond to paint the walls adjacent just so that the colors match because they were unhappy with just a shade of difference. They cleaned up nicely, treated the place with respect, and it looks amazing.
My experience with Oborne Contracting was a very positive one. I was very impressed with how responsive they were and how professional and courteous their workers were. I wouldn't have a problem referring them to anyone in need of general contracting services.
We have been working with John and the Oborne team for almost ten years at two previous homes. More recently we have been working with John on inspections of prospective home purchases, and that is because we trust him and his team to tell us the good, the bad, and the ugly. The team is exceptionally professional, prompt and we always receive open and honest communication about our projects, even prospective ones. All works are done with exhaustive attention to detail, and they always ensured a clean worksite, so we could continue to live in the house while renovations were underway. John's estimates have also been very accurate, and complete. We had previously used other contractors for in-home renovations, and no one can hold a candle to Oborne. We would highly recommend Oborne to any and everyone!
John Oborne is, without a doubt, the most organized contractor I have ever met. Talk about a man of integrity, this guy says what he means and means what he says. I can't recommend his services enough.
