Great way to get into an apprenticeship if you don't have previous experience.
Stay away. You will have to do an 1800 hour pre apprenticeship before you even get registered as a 1st year. Go non-union. Lots of good companies out there offering pension and benefits and will keep you busy all year.
Very helpful in determining the course of your electrical apprenticeship within the IBEW Local 353, as well as planning your course. Be sure to keep up to date with your log cards and ask any and all questions you have to streamline your apprenticeship progress.
A stain on the reputation of the union. Designed to help apprentices move forward with acquiring their certification, they did nothing but hinder the progress of myself, a 4.47 GPA trade school graduate, as well as many others I've talked with. A collosal waste of time and money. Also argued over money they legally owed me, I still haven't received yet.
