We've gone 4 x this summer. My daughter loves it. Went blueberry picking and strawberry picking. Brought our own containers and got them weighted at the beginning. The terrain was easy to walk and kid friendly. The strawberries when they were in season were on waist level troughs for adults and head height for my daughter which is great for picking. The fruit was perfect hence why we went back 4 x! Highly recommended!

Loved picking blueberries here this afternoon. The girl who worked at the counter there was very friendly and helpful. We picked around 8 worth of blueberries (4 lbs) which was a great deal for today near the end of the season. Can’t wait to come back!
We went to Birak Berry Farm today and had a great time picking strawberries! Their u-pick location is at Gilbert Road, near Steveston. The No. 6 Rd location has a fruit stand. The field was not crowded, staff were very friendly, there were plenty of strawberries for picking. The strawberries we picked were good size and super sweet :)
I went to Birak Berry Farms a few weeks ago on a Monday morning with my friends and it wasn't busy at all. The girl at the stand was very nice and welcoming! they were able to accept my buckets from home, so luckily I saved myself a dollar! Their Upick blueberry farm is huge, filled with lots of big, sweet and delicious blueberries! I picked around 4.5 lbs of blueberries for myself and my family which was 14 total, making it 3 a pound! That is such a good deal! I brought them home for the rest of my family and they enjoyed it as well, definitely the best blueberries I've had in my life! There's lots of space around the farm and it's a fun activity to do on a summer day. They also sell 5 lb and 10 lb pre picked blueberry boxes, and strawberry boxes as well. Thank you for the experience, will be going back again every year!
Very straight forward l: get a bucket on your way in. Pick as much fruit as you want. Pay when you are ready to leave (the weight of your produce). Parking may be a challenge. Not sure about restrooms. You can see the berries lifecycle here as professionals pick, sort and pack fruit on site. Bring a hat and some water is you socre a sunny day.
