Would have given 0 stars if possible due to utter lack of customer service and consideration. Waited in a line looped so far back you can’t see the counter 1 hour before our flight. All because they “switched to a new system” that seems to not work for kiosk check in (tried 3 different machines with 2 different personnel). All counter staff have a dismissive “too bad, not our fault” attitude, with many fault-finding comments even though we did everything possible. Yes, we tried online check-in 24hours prior, as well as calling in, both to no avail. The customer number provided basically leads to a recorded message (ON LOOP!!) telling you that they switched to a new system and doesn’t accept calls. What a complete scam. Will never be taking this airline again!
Absolutely make nonsense to me. My parents’ air tickets showed the destination being Calgary. They put them to the flight to Edmonton. The first leg was delayed and they missed the last flight of the day. Air Canada left the passengers at the airport with no food or accommodation. My parents are over 70th and have been travelling for over 15 hours now. Luckily there are a few other passengers in the same situation may give them a little bit help. I tried to call air Canada customer support to fix the air ticket. Surprised that they can’t do anything, even don’t have their Airport ground staff’s contact information. This is Air Canada!
I've had good experiences with Air Canada flying into and out of Vancouver International Airport. When I went on a flight from Vancouver to Sydney, the check-in process went smoothly and boarding was very well-organized and went quickly. The staff, for the most part, are very good. I have not heard the best things about Air Canada from other people, but because of my good experience, I would fly with them again.
