Some of the food here tastes and looks nothing like original afghan food. For instance, I ordered bolani and they brought a few pieces of dough with literally nothing inside!! Their eggplant tastes more like spicy curry than eggplant. It's a shame they call it traditional Afghan food while it is not. Go for it's kebab and rice and avoid here if you are a vegetarian.

Legit food. Like a trip for your taste buds to the east. Not spectacular but definitely good.
I really like the food here but one person can ruin the entire food experience . So here my story - I ordered my dinner for pickup over the phone and went to pick up my meal. Picked up my meal and considering times are tough I even tipped the guy . I asked for an extra green color sauce and had my credit card ready to pay for it . Gentlemen said he can’t accept credit card as the sauce is 75cent and he will only take coins .I obviously don’t carry cash nevertheless coins considering everyone is going cashless for obvious reason (Covid) but at the end his attitude was pay it up in cash or leave it . I like my food with extra sauce and I guess my fault is that I forget to ask upfront and only remembered after seeing it on top of my package .This one 75cent sauce has not only ruined my food taste but has also left a sour experience . I really wished a better experience from this place rather then awkwardness for 75 cents for which I wanted to pay from my card .
Great food and location. One of our go-to places in Richmond. The taste is a bit different than their Surrey location but still good. All halal too so that's a plus! Great job!
I've been meaning to stop into this place that's attached to my local market. Had a lunch special - reasonably priced and decent portions. Music was lovely but would have been even more enjoyable without the sound of the NFL commentators - better to choose one or the other. Front of the house service and attention to COVID precautions was good. I'm dropping one star (nearly two) because the cook was operating with his mask on his chin. (Honestly people, still - after all this time?) Most unfortunate as I'd otherwise have been happy to recommend it to people. As things were, my attempt to support the service industry and drop a huge New Year's Day tip was thwarted.
