The shop workers were friendly enough when I was there in person. I rented a bike from the shop however, and they charged a 500 deposit to my credit card. It took over two months for them to refund the deposit. I called the shop multiple times, they kept saying they were refunding it but it still took two months somehow. There was never an explanation or a single apology or any kind of offer or discount to make up for the fact that they held 500 of my money for over two months. Instead, they sounded annoyed at me for calling to check on the status of my refund two months out the day I rented the bike.... It took me telling them visa was going to dispute the charge for me to get my refund. Other things to note is that the window of time you can rent the bike isn't great. There's no early morning pick up or overnight rental. So you can get the bike at 9 earliest and have to have it back by 5. Unfortunately I recommend staying away from this business. It is unprofessional. And if you rent a bike from them, you should be prepared to not see the return of your deposit without repeated phone calls over several months.
Very friendly shop. Came in to inquire about getting a repair done on my bike while in town on vacation. They were able to accommodate me so left the bike for the day. Received a call back in under two hours that it was done and ready to pick up. Really appreciate the great service. Thanks guys!!
We rented a bike to ride at the mountain for my son. All great but when we tried to return it they claimed the bike was damaged; big crash. My son is only 13 and does not go fast or take big jumps and did not crash all day. So inspect your bike prior. It was only a bent brake lever and considering they are charging Whistler rental prices they should be more careful before releasing bikes; recognize that intermediate kids are not the issue
