I wanted to give Mitch with Red Cape Films a huge shout out, I shoot with him a lot as it pertains to my job of creating content for businesses. He constantly goes out of his way to come up with videos that are always above and beyond. If you ever need video make sure to talk to Red Cape Films. They always do amazing work and go above and beyond simply for the love of film making.

I’m writing this review 1 year AFTER my wedding that took place on April 27, 2019 because this is how long it took to receive everything I was promised in my contract between Mitch Bouchard/Red Cape Films. The original expected date of the video was to be May 30th, 2019. We did not receive our highlight video until 4 months afterwards, on September 3rd, 2019. We would have had no problem with the late delivery if he informed us he needed more time, but we had absolutely no response back from him, no explanation, no communication of any sorts for 4 months! If it were not for our persistence in sending email after email, phone calls, and voicemails, the video likely would have been even more delayed. This was what was promised: Silver package: 1,500 for 1 videographer Ceremony and Reception 3-5 min highlight(received in September 2019) 2x USB (received June 2020) and Custom Box (never received this) I was disappointed in Mitch for his lack of professionalism and poor communication! Most of the highlight video was basically the bridal party taking photos during our first look and speeches only directed to the bride. It did not have the key highlights like the choreographed first dance or the Father-daughter/mother-son dance. It also would have been better to see him more engaged as he was mostly standing around with a tripod. Choosing Mitch to be my videographer was the biggest regret of my wedding. The most important day of your life and I look back with frustration at how much work it took for something we paid for and to receive subpar results. I would advise not to choose Mitch Bouchard/Red Cape Films because what you’ll get is lack of integrity, poor communication, lies, and possibly not receive what you’re promised without your persistence. I would not want anyone else to go through the hassle we did.
