I have recently completed the 10 week Excavator/Backhoe combination course. My time at Rayway has been amazing.. I've gained so much knowledge and feel very confident in my operating capabilities. Ray's experience and expertise is truly amazing to watch, he not only has been a mentor and someone to look up too but has given me on site realism. His hilarious jokes and kind hearted personality have made my experience at Rayway amazing.. not a single dull moment. I also would like to comment on Tessa and Olivier..(staff) they are great people with big hearts, great personalities and super easy to talk too, who are always willing to help with any questions that you may have.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST POSSIBLE OPERATOR TRAINING SCHOOL!!! I looked into a few of the other operator training schools in the lower mainland but nothing compared to Rayway in the experience of instructors or time spent in a machine! I had a very basic level of experience operating machinery prior to enrolling in the school but in a few short weeks Ray has challenged my skills and taught me a new mindset when approaching a dig with safety and efficiency being the key goals.

I came to Rayway Operator Training School as someone who didn’t know anything about excavating. And I’m leaving with so much knowledge, experience, and confidence within the 8 week Excavator Operator course that I took. Ray Richard is no doubt the best instructor/operator/mentor. He knows what he’s doing and teaches you exactly what you need to know for the real world. He’s a person who really cares about his students and gives honest feedback. Ray and his team (Tessa & Olivier) provide an excellent learning atmosphere and give hands on training to each student equally with ample seat time on the machines. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who is interested.

Wow how time fly's when you're learning new things and having fun ! , Just finishing up my 8 week excavator course here at Rayway ! before choosing Rayway i had looked at a few of the other options out there . Coming across Rayway I almost immediately knew that this would be the right choice! With Mr. Ray Richards and his almost 40 years of experience I knew i couldn't go wrong . From the morning lessons to being in the machines you always feel like you are learning something new every minute! That is what 40 years in the business can do for us I imagine ! Rayway wouldn't be complete without the amazing help from Tessa both on the machines and help with our Resumes too! And of course Olivier is always by your machine helping you get the job done! In my experience you wont come across many like the three of them ! not only are they great teachers but they make learning fun never a shortage of joke"s and story's along the way! If your looking to become an operator then there is only one choice and that is Rayway ! sad to be going but now excited for the future thank you again Ray , Tessa , and Olivier !

Rayway was definitely the best choice for operator training. Ray's 40 years of experience clearly shows and his hands on teaching methods are second to none. His staff Olivier and Tessa are very knowledgeable and always helpful. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to operate heavy equipment

I just recently graduated from the three month excavator and backhoe combination course and I was extremely impressed by the experience and the amount of knowledge that I gained from taking the course. The course itself contains an extremely organized curriculum along with real world job site scenario which get me employable as a entry level heavy equipment operator. I was always given clear instructions on how to complete the assigned tasks in the most safest, professional, and productive way. The Owner/Head Instructor Ray Richard never haste to share his 38 years of experience in the industry in the most honest manner. Furthermore he never hesitates to give us extra seat time / instructions when he sees student struggling. Highly recommended for people who are serious about becoming a HEO. Thank you Ray, Judd and Tessa for this unforgivable experience.

Just finishing up my 8 week excavator course here at Rayway and I can’t believe how far I’ve come. Ray is an excellent teacher and a skilled operator, he teaches you how to operate equipment efficiently and safely. He puts the time in to teach you the importance of punctuality and attitude and goes above and beyond helping students achieve a new career. Ray has given me 2 job opportunities and I am forever grateful for all that he has helped me with. All the staff at Rayway have my upmost respect and I recommend this course to anyone trying to better their future. Ray has talked about leaving a legacy to his name and I’d say he has done a damn good job. So thank you Ray, Tessa and Olivier for an experience I will never forget!

The facility and equipment was very organized. I was came to Rayway Operator Training School, who didn't know anything about excavating. Ray is the awesome instructor and he cares about his student so much. Ray and his team provide and excellent training and I'm leaving from hear with so much experience withen only six weeks.I will definitely tell other student go for this - who is interested.
