Phoned the SPA Quebec twice for an errant cat and her three kittens in a field behind my yard. The first time they never phoned back , the second time I get a rude call saying I need to go rent a cage from them and capture the cats and then they will come get them. They portray themselves as being an organization concerned with animals and then put the responsibility on me to capture the cats. I donate twice a year to the SPA Quebec but now I think I will put my money elsewhere!!!

I collapsed at home with double pneumonia. I had a mother cat, her four five week old kittens, and Grayson, a male cat from the first litter. The police took the mother cat and litter of four, but left the older male in the house. A friend paid SPCA 53 to come back to the house to check, and they said the police are SURE the cat is gone. 11 days later I am released from hospital and I am finding it very difficult to get my cats out of SPCA. I come home to find 8 month old Grayson in my apartment, starving to death. He was here. I paid 53.00 for nothing but excuses they do not give refunds they take take take. After paying fees and going through hell (while sick) trying to release my family I finally got them home. The mother was just like death. She could not move, I could tell she was going to die. The kittens eyes were closed shut and they were skin and bones. They said they had to separate the mother because she had a virus. This word VIRUS is code for we are killing your people and animals. I brought them all home and fed them with a dropper using only milk, love and tenderness. None were expected to survive but just one short week later mother is feeding (socially), the kittens are eating on their own, litter trained, you cannot feel the ribs anymore, and the music is on at Nana-Marie's house. If you treat animals like they are garbage what if people are treated the same? They will die. Do not send any animal to this house of horrors. Thank you. Edit I see your reply to my review and have thought about it. There is nothing you can do for me or my family, as I was recovering this month the cat that starved haunted me as much as much kittens who were so neglected and not fed, how can you fix that? I do not know about my health I could drop at any moment, so I have adopted the family away from me and I am alone. I will never forgive.

It's a great way to give animals a second chance. We help the SPA by providing a home for cats until a family wishes to adopt them.
