Last weekend we went to see a friends new trailer and we got to the place very early so my husband and I decided to get a quick bite there but we stayed there for almost two hours. I got egg sandwich and my husband got meat ball open sandwich. Quality of food was very good. Waiting time was longer then usual also the portions are very European and small. It was different experience we liked it.

Very nice little restaurant. We tried several of the open faced sandwiches, all were excellent. Very friendly staff and the location is charming as well. Decent beer selection too. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Ordered some shrimp sandwiches to take out. They were superb and the staff friendly and helpful. An off the beaten track location but well worth the drive !! Highly recommended.

This place is great! I had the curried herring and smoked salmon and enjoyed every bite. The atmosphere is really nice and the restaurant has great COVID precautions. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Nice selection of smorrebrod open-face sandwiches. Could get pricier than expected as each sandwich is about 6 and each person can probably eat 4-5. Plus, their desserts are good. The meringue cake is a must try, though a tad sweet. Service is nice, but a bit slow. Recommend a try if in the area. Worth a drive from Toronto if you're looking for something different to eat. Recently changed owners, but glad to know that the food quality and service are the same. I think the new owners are from the same family so the food tastes the same.

The seating was spaced appropriately, the coffee flavorful (4/5), lovely outside views, and the garlic bread was loaded with butter, garlic and Havarti cheese--delicious!
