Project Trashion is an official nonprofit club of the Federation of Students at the University of Waterloo. Our mission? To foster and grow a culture of sustainability. We use art, fashion, and community activism to do exactly that. Our show uses a compelling array of creations ranging from wearable designs to installation art to create an experience for everyone. We believe that art initiates dialogue, and this is our call to action to encourage our community to live a more sustainable lifestyle. We showcase sustainably-driven businesses, nonprofit thrift stores, and ethical fashion companies as an alternative choice for clothing. We aim to demonstrate that you don’t have to compromise your personality and style for sustainability.
