Love the history and how the town was formed. Starting from next to nothing and follow vision that transformed into a functional town. From the power station to fish plant all inspired a union town. Peaceful and calming town. Must visit if you ask. Town is being restored to its natural glory.

Such an interesting historical site to visit within a small town that is full of innovation and friendship. I have spent 3 weeks in residency here and still have not seen everything. The Adovacate Press has been a delight.

This place was fantastic, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and especially informative. This made it a very welcoming and informative atmosphere. The buildings themselves were almost completely intact and coakers house is magnificent. I would highly recommend visiting and starting at the small museum where the lady will give you a short but complete history of the entire site.

Happened upon this gem driving from Bonavista to St. John’s and decided to take the tour so glad we did! It was truly fascinating to learn about the rich history and to see the beautifully restored buildings and equipment. Well worth your time!

Take the Factory tour. Fascinating history of North America's only community founded by a trade union.
