Had a long wait for our next train. The coffee machine is not working.. They have other vending machines there. Nice chairs, if you want to pay for using them.

Nice way to travel. No traffic, no weather concerns, just sit back have a beer ( wine) and relax. Some delays occasionally but nothing major. Prices for travel are almost on par with gas if you drove to your destination.

This is an un-manned station. You cannot purchase a ticket here, must do it online or at another (manned) VIA station. There is a waiting room here, washrooms, payphones, a digital display monitor to advise of on-time or delays. Parking lot is limited for spots, after full, back your car into the grass across behind station. No restaurants or corner stores close by, so bring your own food/drink from other sources.

In January 2015 we rode the rails with VIA Rail from coast to coast. It was an AWESOME trip. VIA Rail also has some of the best Staff; they help make the trip enjoyable. We are already planning our next trip! Carole & Jack

Was traveling business class. Service was friendly. Meal was excellent. Choice of wines was more than decent. Problem frequently is servers who have no idea how to serve the decent meals VIA provides. Try and get a second thimble sized glass of wine before you have finished your meal. Seldom happens. Usually I'm being offerred coffee instead, long before I'm ready to eat my dessert. On occasion when I've dared ask why, I've been given all sorts of excuses. Personally I've found the Wi Fi to be spotty - very difficult to get either a Samsung or LG phone to actually seamlessly log in. Nobody has ever been able to explain why or get me logged on. And it goes without saying, you almost never arrive on time. Just a question of how late. That being said, if you're not in a hurry, kick back and enjoy the trip, because it beats flying by about ten thousand percent.
