I live in Alberta and I had Bade marine check out a boat I found on Kijiji . They told me it was a family business and reassured me that they were honest. When they did the inspection, I was told the boat was in excellent shape except for a few minor details . They explained the issues and I was not worried about them . So I spent 55 THOUSAND DOLLARS on the boat and asked Bade marine to take it to their shop to shrink wrap the boat and check the wheel bearings for the trip back to Alberta . Once they had it at their shop they informed me that I had to buy TWO new tires , the trailer lights did not work AND they wanted to replace all of the wheel bearings because they did not think that repacking them would be any good . When I got there the bill was over 2200 and they wrapped the boat with flimsy clear plastic that didn’t last the trip ! Now that the boat is home and what’s left of the plastic wrap is off , I have noticed MORE things that should have been in the inspection report PLUS the wheel bearings that they SUPPOSEDLY changed are making a terrible noise !!
I have passed this place many times. After purchasing a boat and running into some issues I went in today. First off many of the things I had already purchased were way less there. From life jackets and speakers to specific screws and tubes. Secondly the issue I was having and wanting to leave boat there for was addressed by JJ. He took a look asked some questions and was kind enough to share his opinions and advice with me. I ended up putting the boat back in the water and , with a couple changes suggested by JJ , I was able to resolve the issue I was having. This may be a long winded review but the point is this. They could have taken my money and left me without a boat for a bit instead they helped me out and were more then happy to do it. They have gained a customer for the future . Thanks Bade Marine !

THE only place I will ever take my boat!!! This is a Mom and Pop family business that still maintains the mentality of running a business that way!!! Very honest with service and repairs with amazing quality of work. Was quoted 1200.00 elsewhere for a throttle/shifter issue and Bades had me all set and fixed in 30 min!! Right!! Less then a 100 bucks. Did a major fibreglass/wakeboard tower repair on a friends boat, flawless job and done in a week!!! A place like this is hard to find in the boating world, don’t pass by.
