From first phone call to high fives on the way home. Vancouver Skydive was easy to work with, extremely accommodating, had great communication, and worked super hard to get us in the air. The staff and instructors are as rad as Point Break and have the best vibes. If you're going to jump, you better jump here.
It was my 65th birthday, loved every minute of it. Jump from 13 000 feet, took sadly only 4 minutes. It was 100 bucks a minute, but worth every penny. Interaction was right on, Hootch had more then 2700 jumps, confident which made me relaxed too. Was nor afraid at all. He let control the chute too briefly. Also we had a perfect sunny day. Everybody should do it once at least, all I can say it is a fantastic experience. Made the landing soo smooth, except the fresh cut grass was in my face. They are real pros.
I was incredibly satisfied with Vancouver Skydive, it was my first ever jump, and as expected was quite nervous. My instructor Dennis Aka "Hippy" helped ease my jitters and answered any and all questions I had regarding skydiving. Skydiving has become one of the greatest experiences of my life, truly nothing like it. I would highly recommend Vancouver Skydive to anyone looking to give skydiving a try.
Everything was great except that the person who accompanied me did not have a positive attitude and it made my experience less fun.. he did not take a good video of me. They refunded the money for the video but I'd rather have an awesome video to keep than my money back... except from these, everything else was great and my other friends who went with other trainees there had much more fun and great video/photos..
The guys at Vancouver Skydive are an awesome bunch. I love the atmosphere around the DZ everyone is so accommodating without a hint of "Skygod Syndrome". After being away for 8 years, I was looking for a DZ where I can call "Home" glad my buddy Ray suggested them to me and now I am here to stay. Cheers!
So professional. Very thorough. Very friendly. i had the time of my life!! HUGE RECOMMENDATION!!! If it wasn't for everyone's positive and professional attitude i would not have gone through with it. thanks guys!
