I had their potato leak soup. It was very good. I would have it again, however, I am now over my soup budget for the rest of he year. Luckily it's December, I'll be able to buy again in January. . I wish you guys the best.

Passing through Peterborough and searched for a healthy food restaurant and found The Food Forest. Nice place with nice service. The burgers were great. The sauces really made them special. The polenta fries were interesting to try. I wasn't quite sure what I was expecting. They sort of crumbled. We finished with a shake for dessert, which was really filling!

Seriously, this place is incredible. Beautiful and delicious food and wonderful women making and serving it. I will always detour through this town just to go here! \u003c3

Stopped in for lunch when we were in Peterborough for the day and glad we did. Nice earthy atmosphere and an expansive menu of vegetarian/vegan dishes, including a large selection of smoothies and juices. Try the Almond Oat Flout waffles with fresh maple syrup. They are to die for. The bowls are also wonderful and will fi you up.

Came in expecting to get another mediocre healthy bowl... but after getting my food I was blown away. I’ve never seen avocado’s warmed up before but with the bowl i got it worked so well. The creamy dill sauce in my opinion is what made everything go so well together. This restaurant is healthy but also tasty. There service is also quick and attentive. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough they need more places like this in other cities. This is 10x better than freshii. I’ll be back later that’s for sure!!

I had the sushi bowl for lunch today and I’m not vegan or vegetarian at all but oh my gosh this dish was SO good. The texture, the sauce, everything in the bowl was just incredible. I had the Berry patch smoothie with it also, which was so refreshing I think I’ve developed a new habit. Staff and owner were very respectful and following all protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of their guests!

Sometimes you just want healthy, tasty food that's also really filling. I work downtown, and my employees and I love grabbing smoothies and bowls from Food Forest during shift so that we can fuel up but still feel productive. Love the Electric City Bowl and the Green Goddess smoothie. :)

We were extremely disappointed by the outcome of food we received by The Food Forest Cafe because seeing how large the menu is and how much variety it has, we figured it could produce a mean meal. I will be sure to prepare my own sandwiches and save 40 next time. I am shocked by the reviews admitted about this restaurant as my partner and I have now tried all the vegan/gluten-free specific restaurants in Peterborough and have found this one **barely mediocre.** We ordered a sandwich and a burger to try out their menu, one being the Garden Pesto TLT Sandwich and the other the Pulled Jackfruit Sandwich. I can honestly say my sandwich was the most bland and overpacked sandwich on one of the tiniest pieces of sliced bread. I understand gluten-free toasts run smaller usually, but you can find a different brand of bread to use or *keep the contents smaller and the flavours larger.* The sauce flavours were non-existent and I honestly could have made the sandwiches at home because they were of such basic contents. My partner received a jackfruit burger which was confusing because the title said sandwich. The jackfruit was the exact same as the packaged jackfruit I have tried before from Whole Foods so nothing original there, and there was a *speck* of cabbage, red onion and avocado. My partner was UNABLE TO EAT the burger bun as it was so physically tough to bite and tear off that it was sent to the garbage while the rest of the meal was picked at with a fork. Highly disappointing. I felt cheated and we could barely eat the food given to us.
