Extremely disappointing customer service. Tried to place my first order for a full hog only to have it cancelled by the owner after I put down a deposit. The owner is very hard to work with, you have to pull info out of him. Doesn't remember what we already discussed and agreed to. When I pointed him to the details discussed in the prior emails, he cancelled my order quoting health reasons. Very, very disappointed with your service and happy that you are not the only heritage pork farm around.
My wife and I spent a fine Saturday afternoon visiting Fred at his farm. We were given the full tour and all of our many questions were answered, openly and without hesitation. Having already experienced the quality of Perth Pork prior to our visit, I was more interested in how that finished product came to be, and was certainly not disappointed. Fred's animals are well cared for and it is evident that their well being and quality of life is at the heart of Perth Pork. If you're interested in a quality product and would like to know where it comes from and how it gets to your table, I highly recommend a trip to Perth Pork. Do bring some meat home with you as well - you'll be very glad you did.
