Dr. Ryckman is thorough in her explanation of the surgery itself as well as the associated risks and what to expect during and after. She proved to be a caring and highly skilled surgeon with a good sense of humor and a sensitive nature. Following surgery, there was a bump above one of the incisions due to the nature of the surgery and she corrected it in office without having to schedule. I'm so glad to have met Dr. Ryckman and highly recommend her.

Had my first appointment booked for 11.5 weeks. Miscarried weeks before, went to emergency during it and they had sent dr ryckman all the forms and tests they had done. The next time I was contacted was to be reminded of my first appointment the day prior to it and then the day of to let me know she wouldnt make it. would not go back to her if I was pregnant again. The lack of communication and assistance through this experience just added to the pain of what I have gone through.
Dr. Ryckman is very thorough and she takes the time to explain everything. She is always willing to listen no matter what. Very honest doctor. She even went to see me at the hospital on her day off and she made a really cute knitted hat for our baby Jasmine. Dwight and I are really thankful and appreciative of this doctor. \u003c3
Completely missed the signs of me having an ectopic pregnancy. Pain on one side, HCG fluctuating, and a previous diagnosis of a blockage. She insisted I was misscarrying but luckily I had an ultrasound booked 2 weeks later (by another physician) and they saw it. Unfortunately, it ruptured 1 day later, at 10 weeks. Luckily, I made it to the hospital in time to have emergency surgery to stop the bleeding. I could have avoided 2 weeks of pain and the whole terrifying experience had she just listened to me and done her job right.
