Exceptional location and traditional interior. We had our Christmas meal here, and our Server suggests us a traditional German dish and a hot cinnamon-mixed wine. They were both exciting, worth the try for sure, but not much aligned with our taste. The pizza was ok, but I will ask them not to add the white sauce next time. Our server, Ali, was so energetic and kind, and we appreciate her help. Highly recommend this place, especially for its location and its beautiful entrance.

Want some good food? Wants a authentic experience? How about some good views? Any time of year this is a great place to be. Summertime has a nice patio, winter there is a roar of a fire. Enjoyed my times here and worthbtgr trip if you are from out of town, or a local. Christmastime there is even a local shop!
FABULOUS ALERT!!! Next time you’re passing through Peachland you must, must, must stop in at this great restaurant. The atmosphere is awesome and the food is tasty. The inside and outside of this establishment are breathtaking and view across to the lake is very picturesque. My favorite thing inside the restaurant is one of the goats hanging on the wall lol. The fireplace inside is quaint and reminds me of days gone by. If your not a real beer lover I suggest you try the Schofferhofer grapefruit beer, it’s very tasty and refreshing. What a great idea the owners had when they started this establishment, thank you for keeping it authentic!
Amazing food and ambiance! Menu was much more reasonably priced than expected, so tip your waitstaff well, especially if you sit upstairs in the loft! Great views, the jagerschnitzel was divine.
PORTIONS ARE HUGE BUT NO COMPROMISE ON FLAVOR! We took my dad out for a birthday dinner and we had a great time. Service was good but the settings was so so so cozy and unique. We will be back! The patio looks interesting so we are looking forward to eating there in summer.
I order at least twice a month from te Gasthause the food is excellent. Use to go to Octoberfest that is one time you do not want to miss. Was there tonight for pickup and would recommend this place all the time/ you rock Gasthaus. Thanks
if I could give no stars I would. Called ahead of time to make a reservation for a special occasion, discussed with the person on the phone that we wanted a more intimate table to set the mood for the occasion. Anyways, we get seated to our table and everything is fine at first and then I realize there is no music playing in the restaurant and you can hear all the chatter between tables and the servers. At one point the two served even said how it was so quiet in the restaurant with no music on but still doesn’t put any music on, so the whole entire time we could just hear the chatter between the servers and the tables around us. Definitely not a nice atmosphere for what was supposed to be a special occasion. Anyhow, we all get to ordering, I would rate this place pub style food at best, the pizza we ordered literally had two slices that had cheese dumped onto the two slices. So it looked like the chef just accidentally dropped to much cheese on the two slices and didn’t care to disperse or fix it at all. Was to greasy couldn’t even finish the pizza. The pork hock dish was not fresh, tasted and smelt like old pork. Was sent back immediately upon coming to the table. It just wasn’t good at all. The whole experience. I’m surprised it has such high reviews, but I heard they changed management. Food was overpriced, food was below sub par, and service was lack lustre. Would not recommend. Not once were we seen by a manager or supervisor to see how we are doing or anything, even the service sucked. If you run out of water don’t expect them to fill it without you asking them to come and do it. I don’t know who trained these servers but honestly, they all need to be retrained in basic customer service and problem solving.
I would have given them 5 stars but the roast beef was not as good as previous times. We ordered medium which was fine but they hide the ends of the roast under another cut. It was tough. The rest of the meal was excellent: salad, vegetables, yorkish, and desert..
