Great place to buy boats or parts for boats!! Always great staff!! They also have a good cleaning station of you catch fish!!
I have never been happier to leave a marina than when I left at the beginning of last season. They have little to interest or service a sailor. The two years I spent there were marked by management turmoil, staff turnover and the instigation of petty rules and regulations. I don't think they understand that boating is a recreational sport that people do for fun. I can't recommend them to sailors.
great marina, The entire staff went the full 9 yards to ensure we had a great experience and stay. great boat launch and fueling station. like cheers everybody knows your name. The other boaters are always there to give a helping hand. Their service Department and the parts store know there stuff. After dealing with five. different marine outfitters with no reply Georgian shores had my parts in two days. when I did pull my boat out and stored outside every time We came up it was just as we left it. Georgian Shores Marina is updating constantly. Like all businesses all in moderation. I can wait to go back next year, lots of fun like one big family. We decided to stay at the Marina in Owen Sound for the Canadians Fastball Tournament. Wendy was very accomodating and explained everything. The boat launch was easy to use, our slip was close to the Boater's Lounge and the dock was well kept. The lounge was immaculate and the washroom and laundry facilities were top notch. Better than most 5-star hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had originally booked for one night but decided to stay an extra because of the beautiful facility and atmosphere. We highly recommend.
