When we found out we wouldn’t be able to have all of our friends and family attend our wedding, we immediately decided we wanted to live-stream and to hire someone in order to ensure everything went smoothly. Hiring Union Eleven was by far one of our best decisions. We had to move our date twice, due to covid restrictions, and Andrew & Derrick were incredibly flexible and accommodating, answering all of our questions promptly along the way. Andrew and Cameron were at our venue for most of the day prior to our wedding, ensuring we would have a flawless video and livestream. Cameron worked our event (we hired Union Eleven for the ceremony & reception) and the reviews from home were phenomenal. We had friends and family all over the world who said it was like watching a movie. The best part, aside from bringing our wedding to the homes of all of our loved ones, is that we are able to keep a downloaded copy of our perfect evening. Highly recommended!!!

We were married in early October 2020 in Ottawa and with upholding public health guidelines we wanted to balance having our close family and friends present for the ceremony- this is where Union Eleven came in with their live streaming services. We were able to have both a small in-person ceremony and have an opportunity for our family and friends across the country to share in our special day. Union Eleven was able to live-stream using different vantage points and ensuring that our microphones were active/muted at appropriate times. Andrew arrived early to the venue to allow for plenty of time for set up. I was glad to hear that I wouldn't need to wear a microphone with my dress and my husband's microphone would pick up normal talking volume with no issues. I was extremely happy with the streamed content, and I have been able to download it as an amazing memento to watch again. I would definitely recommend this live streaming service to anyone planning their special day!

We used Derrick Rice as our photographer for our winter wedding. It was such a great experience having him capture our wedding. Derrick was very easy going and fit right in. He provided direction to capture photos we knew we wanted to get (we had a conversation about it ahead of time), and fell into the background to capture more of the natural photos that we also wanted to capture throughout the day/evening. Derrick exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend using Derrick to capture your wedding/event.

We had Derrick Rice as our photographer for our wedding, and he was absolutely amazing! He was funny and knew how to relax us so he could get some good, and candid shots. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and I say that as someone who does not consider myself photogenic usually! I also cannot recommend having an engagement shoot enough, as it allowed us to see how the process worked, and allowed us to get used to being in front of the camera, and helped us feel like we weren't all strangers on the big day. He helped make sure we will be able to remember our wedding day forever!

Union Eleven was great to work with right from the very start. Although there is no shortage of talented wedding photographers in Ottawa, what set them apart during our ‘search’ was their responsiveness to our questions and willingness to work with our not-so-ordinary schedule on our wedding day. The lead up to the wedding is a stressful time, but Union Eleven was asking all of the right questions about times, locations and people to ensure that they would be well prepared to capture our special day. Derrick and Jessica are both super down to earth, and it was easy to get comfortable in front of the camera with them. Sometimes it’s hard to seem natural when you know you’re being photographed, but I can’t say enough about how easy it was to work with them. The turnaround time to receive our photos was much faster than we anticipated, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
