I bought a pair of boots in early January at the Rideau store in Ottawa. They’re BEAUTIFUL and I was so excited to get them for my event in early Feb. No initial timeframe was provided just that it usually takes a couple of weeks and they said they’d call me when they got it.. time goes by.. weeks later still no call. I decided to pop in a few times to see what the status is. All I was told each and every time I went in is that they’re on pre-order and that they have no way of telling me the ETA.. more weeks go by.. still nothing. I emailed Stuart’s Weitzman’s General customer service email and sure enough they tell me that only the Rideau store can give me an ETA... Im just really disappointed in Stuart Weitzman and their customer service. I thought they were a reputable company but there seems to be a serious lack of communication. It doesn’t seem like the employees fault at the store but more head office? Whatever it is, I just want my boots but at this rate I’ll get them just in time for Summer! Not to mention that they have my money!
I had a great experience here. The first was that i asked for crystal replacement since the crystal on my shoes was missing, which is very visible. Shay followed me up a couple of times to make sure i received my shoes and are satisfied with them. Second time was that I was not sure about the size and didnt place order online since it's final sale on website no exchange or return. So I went to store, although they were not in stock, Shay helped me order from warehouse and notified me when the boots got there. This girl is very nice and helpful, and really did a good job on customer service. I will definitely come back if i need anything in the future.
One of my heels, the studs came off and I bought it back to the store for repair. They did not repair it but gave me a brand new pair! The staff are nice so nice and make me feel welcome :)
Shocked to see bad reviews about customer service? I have been greeted every time I walk in, assisted without delay, and had multiple follow-ups from the lovely staff. Shout-out to April for emailing me deals or ideas on products I would like! She was beyond sweet. --- Also, the products ARE quality and absolutely worth the price. Sure, some go on sale. My boots went on sale the next month, and instead of complaining and begging for a price adjustment (that is ridiculous) I bought the other colours on sale... Note: things go on sale and you bought it full price.. after a week of wearing it you kinda give up your chances of a price adjustment.. ALSO if we want retail to stay a thing we might need to pay for it in store. Hunt online for your sales and consider it a bonus, not a given. Back to the shoes ---\u003e BEYOND comfortable, not ONE blister ever, and I'm still obsessed with every purchase from SW. April, if you read this, see you soon for some new Spring goodies! I need a new pair of Nudists :) Cheers! xo
