Very disappointed with the staff. I called ahead of time to make sure they were able to fill a hpa tank which they said they do. After driving 40 minutes I get to the shop, and the lady at the desk tells me they dont fill those as you guys don't have the adapter. I then told her that the person on the phone told me you guys do. And she quickly changed her answer to \my coworker who knows how to do that just left\ ...Filling a tank should be the first thing you learn to do at a scuba shop. Please teach your employees how to do their job.

Just came from the store. Stood there for over 10 min but the sales guy didn't bother to even look at me... what a low quality service! I left as I will not give my money to somebody who treats me like that. Wow! So you even lie!?! I've been there with my husband. We were looking for snorkeling gear. We were hoping for some help but you were talking with another guy ignoring us completely. Now you are saying that we are invisible on your video too? That brings you to a new level of low. Just ridiculous! Anyway, we are happy you treated us as invisible so we left without buying anything. We found way better stuff at a fraction of your super-inflated prices. Shame on you for the bad customer service and then lying about it.

I went there last night Jan 08/2020, was hard to find it because it is in the BASEMENT OF THE HOME HARDWARE. I got there around 5h30, and right away was greeted by the girl at the counter and then was served by two gentlemen who were Very Attentive and sensitive to my needs. I'm a first time snorkeller and they could not treated me better. Did not make me feel insignificant because I knew nothing of what I was asking. I asked scuba fins, and after talking to me he told me I needed flippers (shorter) for pleasure snorkelling. He did NOT push the most expensive pairs on me, and with my large feet was able to find one pair that actually fit me well. He even tried to find different colours for me but the titanitum colour was the only one left in stock. The price was GREAT...CHEAPER THAN AMAZON, and found out how widely misused is the sizing system. I fit into an XL, but some other XXL were smaller. You really have to get fit, and I would not recommend buying on Amazon if you don't know the brand well. Come here to Sharky's, they take the time to listen, and fit you with what you need. Seriously, i'm really happy with this store, I thought I would feel silly since I am a first time user, but they made me feel like I belonged, gave personal attention but did not push anything....in fact I was planning to spend 150 because of my situation, but he found me a great pair for half the cost and they fit in my suitcase. If I like snorkelling and want to buy better quality gear, i'm coming back here to Sharky's. Not sure why the lady below did not say hello to get some attention as it's a TINY shop with most stock in the back.... but I could not have had a better experience. Thanks to the staff for listening to me and actually saving me money from buying the wrong stuff on Amazon. And I got to support a local business too. Great staff and great service, and even better prices!
Connor was a wealth of information as we had to replace older equipment due to wear and tear while in French Polynesia. They gave a 15% discount for being DAN members plus 25 off for buying a snorkel with mast, that we needed anyway. Win-win. Thanks. Oh free parking too.
