A few months ago, I was introduced to this supermarket by a good friend who also enjoys new culinary experiences. This place is impeccable. They have done a superb job during the covid pandemic to put in place a safety protocol that everyone is diligently following. The best part is the food. From frozen products to fresh produce and their famous garlic chicken to go.Let's not forget their doughnuts. It's divine. It's one of my family's favorites. I almost forgot the homemade Kamchi. I use it to make a comfort soup for the long winter nights. Last Friday, I had the pleasure of having a \food\ discussion with one of the employees. She really took the time to explain to me the ingredients used in some of the products, how to prepare the food and other good tips. Not being accustomed to Korean cooking, she was very helpful. Thank you very much!

Fantastic store! Staff is lovely and helpful. I had a few questions about black bean paste and noodles for a recipe I was trying and they were super helpful with great suggestions! Authentic ingredients, great prices. They don't carry much produce, but they're right next to loblaws so it's no issue. Definitely my new favorite market!
Seoul Mart is a Korean supermarket that offers a vide variety of drinks and foods. The meat they have is of a particularly outstanding quality. Prices are reasonable. Customer service is polite. The only element that could be improved is the addition of more home-made dishes such as appetizers and salads.
This is my favourite Korean grocery store in the area. It's small, not gonna be able to rival you're H-marts and PATs in Toronto, but has enough essentials at quite decent prices to fill the gap. Shelves are always well-stocked. I've actually found prices here are generally lower for the same product than other stores in the city. Kinda wishing they could stock more Korean skin and hair care products...Staff are super friendly too and they really do try provide a safe shopping environment during the pandemic. Really appreciate it and looking forward to discovering more new items on my next trip.
Seoul Mart is the best grocery store in Ottawa. Just having moved from Toronto, we were looking for a place where we could get good Kimchi and other Korean products. This place has it all! And if they don't they're more than happy to see if they can bring it in for you. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! pro Tip: Try their kitchen food!! Order the fried chicken, it's some of the best in the city.
