My company, Whiskeyjack Media (social media events agency), has hired Postering Ottawa on numerous occasions for numerous events we manage: everything from street festivals to retailer sales to virtual charity galas. I believe postering is an effective form of marketing, particularly for special events. It really feels like something is \coming to town\ when it is physically there in front of people on the street. (I feel the same way about billboards, but postering is far less costly.) A major benefit to hiring them is that they know the postering rules in the city, and just get the job done. You don't need your staff or volunteers (or yourself!) spending hours walking around, awkwardly figuring out how to best hang posters up -- both physically and politically. PO removes this time and concern, gets the job done, and texts you photos of the proof. Our client's events have had great results -- attendance, sales, funds donated, etc. -- with Postering Ottawa as part of our marketing mix (typically paired with aggressive social media). So yes, I can recommend calling Samantha and seeing how they might be able to help you out! PS: Part of the secret weapon of hiring Postering Ottawa is that they also promote your events on their popular Instagram account with photos of the posters they've put around town, increasing your reach even further -- and allowing you, in turn, to share that \coming to town\ buzz with your audience online from a third party source talking about you, which can offer credibility.
