During the day, you can walk the trails and enjoy the natural beauty along the way. In the evening, we can even travel long distances just to see the sunset, just for the intoxicating beauty here.

Beautiful place to visit in summer and in winter . Nice beaches and nice park. In winter the river freezes and you can walk on the frozen river if it is deemed safe.

It’s a great place for a weekend day gateway. This island is huge and has spots for swimming and other water activities like kayaking, sailing, boating and fishing. Petrie island beach is peaceful and beautiful and you can have a lovely day with friends/family.
My favorite beach in Ottawa. Has Bananas Grill and Rhum Shack too!! DJs, music and activities.
