I started taking my sons dog here once a week about 6 months ago and he thoroughly enjoys it. I found all the people who work here lovely. I have spoken with Amanda, the owner many times and find her easy to work with and very understanding, as I have been a bit late a couple of times. Like the fact that they walk the dogs and have separate areas for large and small dogs when they have many dogs. Will definitely continue to take him here
Place is ok and clean. Staff are great. Young girl at reception is very sweet. But owner is VERY unprofessional and highly disrespectful. Don't recommend! It takes them 2 weeks to get back to you. If they were on vacation, then there should be an outgoing message that states that. I took my 4 month pup in for the 1st time this morning and understandably, I was a nervous mom so I popped in an hour later to peek for 30 seconds and snuck out. Unbeknownst to me (because I had never taken a dog to daycare) this is not welcome behaviour. Not less than 2 minutes later, I received a very nasty and condescending call from Amanda, the owner, who proceeded to cuss me out! Rather than communicating with me as a 'professional' and speaking to me with respect, she instead chose to 'scold' me, a 1st time client. If what I did was not in line with their policies and procedures, then I would have welcomed being informed politely and educated in a manner that befits professionals and adults. Instead, I was belittled and bullied! Even after I apologized for my innocent error in judgment, she just kept going! If this is how she treats humans, I'm curious how she treats our pets. I immediately went back to pick up my pup and Ananda flat out refused me the courtesy of speaking with me. I recommend finding alternate accommodations for your beloved canine. Very unprofessional.
