My family has been going here for at least a decade. Good food at a good price, especially for the family platter. Always really friendly service that never disappoints.

So I tried this place for the 1st time and will not go back. Here's why! I ordered a shawarma platter,. the cook re-heated some old rice in a Styrofoam box in microwave to re-heat the rice from the day or more before. After telling him not to do that as this could poison my food. He got mad at me in front of 5 or so customer. Saying there was no danger of poisoning. I politely told him to skip the rice. The situation got worst. So I just left. This place is not clean. The food was left over from day's before. there was only 1 person serving no one else. Weird. I will not go back.

I very rarely write reviews, but this was the most disappointing shawarma I've ever had. Was basically served dry microwaved chicken and potatoes that I assume were from the day before. The portion was okay for the price, but I threw it out anyway, so it didn't even matter. There's an abundance of great shawarma joints in Ottawa, but this ain't it, honey. Move on.
