Quaint home-style mom-and-pop Indian restaurant in the Byward market. Authentic Indian street food. Simple eatery, very reasonably priced. Generous portions. Options range from a plated serving, or wraps. Felt like we were guests dining in their home. The hosts were very kind. The shop also sells Indian spices to take home, and even tubes of mehndi (henna)!

The best chicken curry and chickpea curry! This is home cooking right here! Whenever I am in the market I look forward to coming over here. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.

Nice small restaurant run by a nice gentleman and his family. If you are on a budget then definitely give it a go. Beef samosas are popular among its patrons. I opted for an onion bhaji and found it great. Curries have home made touch and naans are fluffy. Halal options are available (I didn't try meat curries though). The hours are amazing. You can also find this place open on Mondays when other Desi places are closed. Great on days when it is bright outside as this place has large windows to do people watching.

Incredible spot in the Byward market. Since finding this spot, I've been going weekly (my staff included). They state everything is made from scratch, it certainly tastes like it. Highly recommended if you enjoy Indian food, quick, easy and really nice staff.

Amaaazing authentic curry- beef, chicken, lamb and veggie. The rice is super good too! The veggie and beef samosas are delicious! They also sell grocery products. The family is so wonderful and kind so it's always a pleasant experience as well as delicious!

Quite disappointed with my experience here. The naan wasn't that good, and neither was the sambar.
