TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Purchased all my appliances and electronics from Best Buy along with extended warranties for each one. Most of the call centre agents haven’t been properly trained - they can’t answer any questions, they all provide conflicting information, and they don’t have a service standard timeframe apparently. I asked to speak to a supervisor and each time was told that they either weren’t available or weren’t taking calls! I was offered a callback within 24h on two occasions, and never received one. I had to call 10 times over 3 days and countless hours spent on the phone before a supervisor finally agreed to speak with me. 3 weeks before they can send anyone to fix my stove - so I’m stuck without a stove for 3 weeks. The salesmen at Best Buy are extremely nice and helpful up until they get your money. Then you get treated like garbage. Never again!

My daughter took her computer there to be repaired November 17, 2020- it still has not been fixed, it needed to have battery cable connection which never was put back on properly, it’s been 4 months now!

Bought a laptop in 2018 and we changed cards on the account (for Geek Squad) but someone on their end canceled it so when i brought my laptop in to fix it they said i owed 800 if i wanted my geek squad back and after 1 month they budget and said just pay 200 because its geek squads fault. so i got my laptop back within days after a motherboard replacement and updates the laptop started chasing and as well just was slow (even with a new motherboard) and now its been with them for 1 month and they knew they day i brought it too them i needed it back ASAP for school that is starting for me within then next few days and still nothing NO CALLS NO EMAILS NO UPDATES HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE i've had so many issues with Geek Squad and there HORRID Help

I've heard terrible things about Geek Squad for yeeeears. but now I need repairs so I've been looking around. I asked a friend who had been there and she said " you just have to be lucky with who you get". Who needs luck? I want professional, knowledgable and qualified service techs. So greatful for these reviews!!!!

I received an email from them saying they would withdraw an automatic withdrawal for a one-year renewal (which I had already cancelled). The email says the amount is being withdrawn TODAY and if I don't want this renewal, to call them. I did call and they said, sorry, but the withdrawal is already done! Stay away!

I brought my pc that I built here. It had stopped working, and I didn't have time to diagnose the issue. I payed 70 including tax for them to tell me which piece of hardware had become defective. A few days later they call to tell me that it will need to be sent to their "factory". I went to pick it up and to get a clear answer. There, I'm told that the motherboard is defective. Ok, good, now i know. Wrong. I kept proding, asking about how he knew for sure. Then he admitted to me that he was not able to check the cpu. So it might have been the real culprit. He even admited to me that, if the cpu was the culprit, then when i attached it to a new motherboard, it could fry it too (that was why they could not test it for me, they didn't want to risk their own equipment). Can you believe that?? Then I asked how likely it was if my power supply had caused a surged that fried the motherboard. They answered, maybe, could very well be. Fantastic. I have no idea whats wrong and im down 70. I understand that they did not have all the equipment necessary to run these tests, but they readily took my money, and for that reason i have to encourage you to go to any other computer repair shop. I think they thought they didn't need to figure it out since most people would have agreed to let them send it to their factory (another 110). This is the worst sort of behavior for a company. They promised to tell me what was wrong with my computer, and they banked on me not asking tok many questions. Do not go here, they just want your money.

I Signed up for home protection when buying a laptop. They gave me a free month due to an employee misunderstanding. BUT ACTUALLY, they added the cost to my account and now I have to pay it off before cancelling, which can ONLY be done over the phone (the wait is terribly long). DONT GET GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION

Sad that this business does see the need to answer their phone with real people.
