Galetta falls, and the surrounding area, is absolutely beautiful. Trekking along the riverside is even more so. Wear a good pair of water proof boots with decent grip, jeans and either a long sleeved shirt or a decent amount of bug spray. You've got to have a *good* sense of balance, as many areas have loose rocks to walk over or clay that could send you into the water. The view of the old hydro dam is something that takes you back a wee bit in time. Depending on the direction you go, be respectful of private property signs.

Beautiful area
Galletta Falls is a nice quiet spot that houses a hydro dam, very picturesque, especially in spring when the water is rushing down. I've seen people fishing in that spot but not sure what has been caught. Worth a stop to take in the view and a look around.
