Stopped here with my mom before heading to Canadian Tire - almost all the cleaning products I was planning to purchase at CT were cheaper here!! Great selection, great prices. I like shopping at food basics as a student because the prices are usually cheaper than other supermarkets.

Clean, Well laid out for Covid, respecting 100 customer capacity limit. Cheap prices, good selection. As with all the Food Basics I've been to, fresh meat selections doesn't look the freshest but I usually get my meat elsewhere.

Great Garden Gnome

I used to really like this store but the selection has been pitiful recently. Last 4 times going they have been out of so many items and this was one of the worst times!! Completely out of large eggs except for the overpriced specialty types. Really? Out of yogurt. Come on! The mushrooms need to be thrown into the green bin, very discoloured. They can't blame the pandemic, the Stittsville store is fine. The cashier was very nice, that much I'll give them.
