This place has definitely become my favourite in such a short amount of time. These guys are so friendly and cook with love... each bite you taste every blend of flavour, love and passion. I’ve been a chef for 11 years and this place definitely deserves 5 stars as thee best. They put as much passion in their food as they do about caring about people. Every time I am so excited to see them and talk to them! These men always go above and beyond every day! They deserve thee best in life! I recommend 1000000%....

I ordered a mixed shawarmar plate and jalapeño peppers, the salad in the plate was a little bit too salty but everything else is tasty to me.
It was five minutes later than expected but,oh boy a mountain of food super fresh, totally worth the wait,two portions. Okay so got seconds,no choice when that good!timing was fixed or less busy.
Big H Shawarma & Poutine is by far the best restaurant in Ottawa! The service, quality, and creativity of the food is unbeatable. Big H offers a variety of different foods between the Canadian and middle eastern cuisine that satisfy any craving. There is definitely something on the menu that everyone will enjoy with their variety of foods. The service and atmosphere is also unbeatable with their welcoming and friendly environment. It takes a lot of hard work to run a business in the food industry, but the owners run their business with pride and love with their exceptional customer service. They take time to get to know and build relationships with their customers that make you feel apart of their family. I definitely recommend Big H as you’ll always be coming back for more!
I really liked their poutine with steak and their rice has a good flavor to it. Can't wait to try their shawarma poutine next time.

A welcomed addition to Ottawa's bustling Mid-East fusion cuisine. Each serving is packed with simple, fresh and flavourful ingredients—it's a damn shame I haven't heard of this establishment sooner. A true hidden gem in the nation's capital.
