My wife and I went for dinner date night. The staff just great and super friendly. We'll be back. The scallops were probably the best I have ever had. My wife's steak was one of the fancy ones called the Commodore tenderloin, and it was just great! She loved it. I tried it and I'll get that next time. When the staff brought it out they even told her she "did quite well". I on the other hand got the New York. Miss it. Like don't bother. While cooked medium rare as requested, it was boring and flat and hardly any flavor. I was so disappointed as I kissed away my . Next time I will stick to something the servers are excited about. Anyway we'll be back. The atmosphere was great, we loved our booth (despite the wobble), and we'd send friends there for sure.

Went there expecting a great meal but it quickly became clear that this was a case of hope exceeding expectations. Could have sat at the bar but selected a table. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good as the place was not very busy. The food was just OK and therein lies the problem: it could have been so much better and with just a little more effort. With a cleverly crafted menu and a lofty reputation, the expectations are going to be higher. This is a good place in search of a higher grade of food.

Their steaks are incredible!! I can't stress that enough.. the chunks of bacon they put over it are also phenomenal.. their dirty rice is to die for.. i actually ordered a second order of just the dirty rice topped with bacon.. their fried chicken is really healthy tasting, not greasy at all.. it's not bad tasting but it just tastes like it was made with an acti-fry to be honest.. their jambalaya is a little disappointing but then again i have really high jambalaya standards.. left to me, i would only order their steaks and dirty rice every day for the rest of my life.. service was also impeccable..

Casual yet refined. Great spot. Will have to try some of their extensive bourbon menu next time! Host was great, food was a quality that reflected the prices, and atmosphere was very comfortable with the right level of everyone clearly enjoying themselves in the room. I've been before and will be back!

What an incredible experience! Not only is the resto decor relaxing, inviting, and super comfortable but the service is impeccable. Even the bathrooms are lovely (and very warm :). The bartender and our server were attentive, friendly, and efficient. We started with a mix of the PEI and Nova Scotia oysters which came with an assortment of housemade sauces and were not disappointed. The flavors were perfect. However, I do caution using too much of the Scotch one. Definitely a scorcher but still quite flavorful. For the main, I ordered the Ahi tuna board and was delightfully surprised at the beautiful presentation and more so at the mouthwatering tastes. My dinner companion ordered the Ahi tuna, medium- rare, and it arrived perfectly cooked. The heirloom carrots and cooked beets were just right as sides. We did find the dirty rice just a bit too greasy for our tastes but others may enjoy it. All in all, definitely will return for another visit. Thanks for the great experience!
