My St. Louis born husband deems these ribs the best in Ottawa. Smoked, not boiled, perfectly seasoned and not a ton of sauce, just the right amount. Also best in City are the sweet potato fries (my fave), tasty, creamy coleslaw and a potato salad with a little bit of heat. Add the best ever cornbread (a hint of a crust with dense, moist insides) and we are thankful to @ctvottawa for their local business features weeknights. You will love this food! The lager was delicious too!

Great food, good beer, friendly staff! There's a great covid friendly workflow and the bathrooms are clean. Plenty of patio space too! Great spot

Been there a few times and have absolutely loved the patio each time I've been in. They were taking all the necessary precautions with distancing between tables and purchasing your beers. Staff was friendly and the addition of the Smoque Shack was awesome. The beers are fantastic, plenty of options to choose from from light to strong beers (that do not have that strong boozy flavor). Was able to purchase some to bring home from their take home window as well. Great place! Have been recommending to plenty of friends!

Wow, what a great expeirence. A variety of tasty beers are on offer and BBQ smoked meats on the menu. Great place to sit, eat, and chat with a reasonable tab. The location is not super accessible, so check the map first (access from Albert street by car). They also have take-out beer !
