Dr. Dutta is the best family physician I have, He is caring and understanding. I would recommend him to anyone especially patient who is anxious seeing a doctor. His assistant/receptionist is efficient and kind.

Dr. Dutta is by far the worst family doctor I have ever met. After my initial consultation with him that lasted a good 3 minutes; he never contacted me for a YEAR regardless of my numerous attempts. He finally agreed to see me after 12 months and when I asked or a psychiatrist referral, he refused and asked me to go in to emergency \If I'm stressed\ - I've stated the only reason I need a doctor is for a psychiatrist referral in our initial meeting and he completely brushed it of. GUESS IT DOESN'T MATTER TO YOU IF YOUR OWN PATIENTS ARE DEPRESSED AND SUICIDAL, Dr. Dutta. Nice going. You don't deserve this license that you somehow have convinced OHIP to give you.

I would like to share a great review for Dr. Dutta and his new Assistant. First I'd like to say I have never seen an assistant work past her shift and complete the call returns to her patients. She has many time followed up with me and other members of my family, past 7:00 p.m. in the evening. That commitment to her job and to Dr. Dutta, is hardly seen as a work ethic. I have to also add that this Easter I was not feeling well, and Dr. Dutta was texting me during his work shift to ask about my symptoms. He then called me that even and because Covid 19 I was not able to go to the Hospital or his office in April and he treated the symptom over the phone and had my pharmacy send over the antibiotics. He followed up for days. Every member of my family and myself can tell you that He his a very good GP and a caring human being that smiles and make you leave with a satisfied diagnosis. They both deserve a great review....

Called and confirmed at 1pm on a friday I'd be good to come to the walk in clinic at posted open time of 8am. Show up monday at 8, receptionist says the doctor won't be in until 11 but lets me register for an appt at 1115. If the doctor is going to be late I'll get a call she says. I show up at 11, not only is the doctor not there yet but my position in queue is now 4th when I was the 2nd person to register. Same thing happened to the 1st person to register. They became 3rd. Why does a receptionist on the phone not know the doctors schedule when you call to confirm it'll be open at a certain time. Why does a receptionist not phone to indicate a late doctor - as specifically promised. Why does the queue mysteriously change with the other receptionist not knowing why? Free healthcare is amazing but this place's customer service is on par with a late shift mcdonalds run by teenagers. I can only imagine how much worse this would be if the same thing happened to someone who had to work today and either was forced to cancel the appt, or ask their boss for several more hours off, or sit in a lobby for 3 hours during covid because they have to take a bus and not drive. Whoever runs this place should actually take some responsibility and start expecting good customer service skills from the front desk staff but they probably get paid either way so I doubt they have the incentive to do so.
