My 6 year old daughter is enjoying WTADK. The staff are great with students, everything is clean and well organized. My daughter works hard and has fun too. Master Ron is patient with the students when explaining combinations. It's well run and safe place to be.

We are so happy we found Whitby Taekwondo Academy! There are so many things I like about this place. 1. Positive Atmosphere: I am impressed by how positive and encouraging Master Ron is with the kids. As a black belt, my expectations are high, but his belief that all students can rise to the occasion is evident. 2. Flexible Schedule: My kid can attend to any class at various times throughout the week. 3. Comprehensive and Dynamic Program: We previously attended another Taekwondo school that didn't have a program like this place. I can confidently say that my kid perform more kicks in one class that he did during an entire month in the previous place. 4. Connection: Master Ron and all staff take time to connect with each student and family. I have no idea how they do this, but they know the name of each student at the school and many of the parents! It is amazing. Also, Master Ron is very funny (specially when he is \kiaing\). My kid loves coming, and I love seeing him work towards the goal of his next belt. I think Taekwondo has helped him learn how to work hard and persevere. I highly recommend this school.

I have all three of my boys taking classes. My 4 year old is in the Active Start Program and my older two are yellow stripe belts currently training in class twice a week and online once per week. I found this place in the summer while looking for Summer Camps and my middle son attended and became hooked. Master Ron and Ms. Lyn run a fabulous program that allows kids to work through at their own pace but at the same time being encouraged to try and push themselves. In the 5 months that my boys have been a part of this program we have seen improvements in self confidence and self discipline which are being used not just at Taekwondo but also at school and home. We highly recommend them for anyone looking for an activity that will motivate your children. And even during Covid with the different levels of restrictions they have made a safe environment that allowed my boys to continue to train.

I don't normally write reviews but I had to for Whitby Taekwondo Academy. They really are a fantastic bunch. They care about their students. Master Ron and Lynn really do take it to the next level with understanding and support. My son is 6 years old and he has already gained so much confidence in such a short time. I can't say enough good things about WTA. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to teach your child respect while making it fun. My son can't wait to go to class!!

I highly recommend for all kids. If you want them to have discipline and to learn how to defend themselves. Master Ron is one of the BEST!!! My two sons currently attend now. The staff will work with you if you need extra help plus if you have your kids in the class, parents are FREE. Another year has passed and now my sons are Black Belts (see pictures below). Thanks to Master Ron and staff, my sons are continuing to learn. My son's grades have gone up in school. Again, I highly recommend that if you have a chance, bring your kids in and let them try, it is FREE for the first week. Usually if you have a kid in the program then the parents are Free. What do you have lose??? Staff is super good with all kids.
