We were just here recently and this is one of my favourite sushi places when in the area. The staff and employees that work here are very courteous and very professional. They always help with your selecting of different items. The place is always neat and clean and tidy inside and out. If you're looking for a great sushi experience you have to try this place
Used to really love this place...then our last experience happened. We ordered sashimi through a meal delivery app only to be sent what I can only describe as a raw fish cake, doused in mayo, full of tempura and molded into a heart shape! The menu does not describe their sashimi in this way at all. We certainly wouldn't have ordered it if it did. Sashimi is also not cheap. All this filler for what should be the simplest food also was cause for concern. We called the restaurant only to be berated and hung up on. They asked us to bring back the food for a refund only to refuse the refund when we got there. Thankfully the food delivery company provided the refund. Never EVER will they get another penny from us. Feeling for some sushi/sashimi? Give this place a miss and hit up The Villa in Whitby instead!
I love this place. I always come here for my sushi and recommend to everyone who’s looking for a spot to get some good sush. Im vegetarian so I cant speak for their rolls with meat in them but the veggie ones are so good and once she even took off the tobiko from a roll to make it vegetarian for me! Theres sometimes a slight language barrier but with a little patience and understanding from yourself, you will be sure to have awesome service!
This is probably the best sushi restaurant in the Oshawa area in terms of the quality of the meat and other ingredients used. I can't say that I have ever been disappointed during my many visits here. The menu has a variety of foods from Asian dishes to more Western dishes in addition to the sushi. Parking outside the restaurant isn't very good but is manageable. If the lot is full, there is a large grocery store parking lot next to it.
