Its a great place to play...
Its a great place if you are looking to either start or change gyms , the price is very fair as you get access to all the city pools and ice skating as well as the track and to the weights . If your looking to stretch a buck I recommend it , I dont think you'll be able to find a place with as many amenities for the price !
There are many things to do here, not a lot are free though. The classes run through the city are reasonably priced. There is a pool, track, indoor soccer fields and gym at this location. The track is outdoors and costs 2 per use last time I looked at least. There is plenty of parking with accessible parking and entrances. There are vending machines in the lobby for snacks and there is a little shop that sells sporting equipment near the entrance elevators. You can rent rooms to host parties. The only free thing that I can think of at the civic is the hangout lounge where kids can spend time, it overlooks the indoor soccer fields. The playgrounds outside are free, I almost forgot about them. The main playground is great. Ghe smaller one on the south side of Gibb street, there is a little club house with a kid sized table in it. Reasonable since it's for children except junkies like to shoot up in it. I've seen needles, blood and dirty underwear in that clubhouse so make sure you check it before letting your kids play inside of it.
