I have been working at the Wynfield now for 6 years and the team I work along side with is amazing in so many ways they care so much for our residents and go above and beyond for them. The residents and staff at the Wynfield are like family to me and we strive to make our residents and their families feel at home, happy and safe.

Dad is settling in to his new place very well. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Wynfield Retirement Residence Oshawa, including but not limited to Samantha, Craig, Kathy, Kamesha, Ashley, Julia, Dave, Jessica, and Brianne for their expert care and assistance. Everyone has been so helpful and friendly. And Dad is always commenting how delicious the food is so hats off to the chefs and their many assistants! Thank-you everyone for going the extra m ile especially in these difficult times!

When my mother was no longer able to reside in her own home it became necessary to find a residence that would meet both her physical and social needs. Although she was adamant that she didn’t want to move to a retirement residence, within weeks she told me she loved her new home. Her meals are both nutritious and delicious. She enjoys having her meals in the company of others. She has become very involved in the many social activities offered on a daily basis. She attends her exercise classes regularly which helps her with her mobility. The staff at Wynfield are now her second family. They provide excellent care and the communication with me is fabulous. I feel confident that my mom’s needs are being met in a caring and dignified manner.
