Opus is my favorite art store and while the Granville Island location is my no. 1, this is a great location as well. I do agree that there is a weird new obsession there with helping customers, I think I was asked 4 times if I needed help? But one staff member did bring me a basket, which was very nice of him. I think in the era of social distancing we all want a little less attention from staff, not more, but I guess I can't really fault them for being keen to help.

Everything you need for everything you want ! Great store, complete, multiples choices, qualities and prices. Divers kits are available for beginners ( like me ) I am grateful to your advisor who took time to explain the Basics ! Thank you !

I liked this store but this time the staff kept coming over to me like I was going to steal something. Very uncomfortable experience. I don't need to be approached by the same member of staff 3 times. Then twice each by two other members of staff. Please don't harass your customers this way, all I wanted was to buy some art supplies and have a browse, not to be followed around.

Artists need space and time to buy their materials. And we can assume that when customers need help they will go and ask a staff member. There was no need for pretentious and \snubby\ behaviour from some of your younger staff. Thank you.

Opus has both essential and efficient art supplies and materials at sweet prices. As a student, you could get a 15% discount on the items you purchase. Be sure to sign-up and ensure you have either a list of your courses (showing your school app containing a list of courses is acceptable) or perhaps an I.D to receive your discount card. Staff is friendly and available to help you find anything you need or make recommendations if you're uncertain.
