I have had several occasions to interact with the police in Wiarton and I have to say they have been nothing but the best you could ask for. I was once stopped at a drunk and drug stop in Colpoys Bay with my 86 year old mother in the car and didn't even get my wallet out. Even had a real nice conversation. I have seen them on the street and the same thing. I walked up to 2 of them and asked if they had caught any criminals that day and they (playfully) grabbed my arm and said \ just now\. All in good fun. Jill at the front desk is a hoot too. Genuine good people.
